the limited edition ph 3½-2½ copper table lamp:
made to order until 31 august 2015!

the late poul henningsen, who originally designed the ph table lamp, philosophized that the observer should not be subjected to direct glare from the electric light source, so he designed the ph table lamp to spread its light and conceal its light bulb, thus creating softer and more diffused lighting.

a copper version of a legendary 1929 table lamp design can now be ordered. it is available in two bottom glass shades – an opal glass shade, which together with the two bottom glass shades provides soft comfortable diffuse light, and a polished copper shade with a white painted inner surface, which provides softly concentrated downward directed light on the table surface.

the ph 3 ½ – 2 ½ copper table lamp is 46cm tall, and will be made in response to incoming orders. in fact, only the exact number ordered will be produced.
